Terms & conditions
These terms apply to katehepburn.com and to every course, program, coaching session, download and resource sold or given away through it (together, “the website” and “our products”). The website is run by A Life on Purpose (“Kate Hepburn”, “Simply Ihsan”, “we”, “us”). By using the website, joining a list or buying a product, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website or our products.
Using the website and your account
You must be 18 or over, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to buy from us. Please keep your login details private. Your access to a course is for you alone: sharing logins or passing on course material is not allowed, and we may close access that is being shared and may take legal action.
Course and product access
When you buy a product, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own learning and, where stated, in your own business. Access length is described on each product’s sales page. We may update lessons, add material or retire outdated content to keep products useful.
Intellectual property
All content on the website and in our products, including text, videos, audio, templates, worksheets, graphics and the Simply Ihsan™ name and method, belongs to Kate Hepburn unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, resell, republish, teach or share it without written permission. Templates sold for your own use may be adapted for your own business, but not resold (as is or adapted) or given away as templates.
Community and communications
In any group, comment area or live session, please be kind, respectful and mindful of other members’ privacy. We may remove content or members who are abusive, spam others or share what isn’t theirs to share. Anything you share with us may be read by us and, in group spaces, by other members.
Recordings
Live sessions may be recorded and shared with members of the relevant program. If you prefer not to appear, you can keep your camera off and use a display name or the chat.
Affiliates and third parties
Some links on the website are affiliate links, and some tools we teach are made by other companies. We aren’t responsible for third-party products, services or websites, and your use of them is subject to their own terms. See our affiliate disclosure.
Ending access
We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, a payment is disputed or not completed, or a product is misused. You can stop using the website and unsubscribe at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Kate Hepburn is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or our products. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any dispute will first be handled through a good-faith conversation by email, and then, if needed, by the courts of the United Kingdom.

Educational purposes only
Everything on the website and in our products is shared for education and encouragement. It is not professional advice. Kate Hepburn is not a doctor, therapist, nutritionist, lawyer, accountant, financial adviser or religious scholar. For decisions about your health, finances, legal matters or religious rulings, please speak to a suitably qualified person.
Faith references
We share Qur’an and hadith references with care and with sources. They are offered as reminders, not as fatwas or scholarly rulings. If you’re unsure how something applies to you, please ask a trusted scholar.
Earnings disclaimer
We don’t promise or guarantee any income, audience size or business result. Examples of results, including Kate’s own, are not typical and not a guarantee of what you will achieve. Your results depend on your circumstances, effort, skills, timing and many factors outside our control. Starting or running a business involves risk and no guarantees can be made.
Testimonials
Testimonials are shared with permission and reflect real people’s experiences. They are not a promise that your experience will be the same.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this website are affiliate links. If you decide a tool is right for you and sign up through my link, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, where the provider’s standard terms apply. I only recommend tools I believe are genuinely useful, and I’ll always tell you when something may be a better fit.

We work hard to keep information accurate and current, but tools, prices and platforms change. Please check the details that matter to you before you rely on them.

Payments & refunds
Payments
Payments are processed securely through Kajabi and its payment partners [e.g. Stripe and PayPal]. We never see or store your full card details. Prices are shown in USD and may not include taxes or currency-conversion fees charged by your bank.
Payment plans and subscriptions
If you choose a payment plan or subscription, you agree to the full number of payments or to ongoing payments until you cancel. Stopping a payment plan doesn’t cancel the amount still owed. If a payment fails, access may be paused until it’s brought up to date.
Refunds
Each sales page will state any product-specific terms. Please refer to these before completing your purchase.
Chargebacks
If something isn’t right, please email us first so we can help. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may result in access being removed while it’s resolved.

Privacy policy
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us - such as your name, email address, billing details, survey or quiz answers, and anything you send through a form or email.
Information collected automatically - such as your device, browser, pages visited and how you arrived at the website, through cookies and similar tools.
Payment information - handled by our payment processors; we only see limited details such as your name, the product bought and the last four digits of a card.
How we use it
To deliver what you’ve asked for (courses, downloads, coaching, The Simply Ihsan Letter); to manage your account and payments; to answer your questions; to improve the website and our products; to send emails you’ve agreed to receive; and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Lawful basis
Where data-protection law applies, we use your information because you’ve consented, because we need it to provide a product you’ve bought, because we have a legitimate business interest that doesn’t override your rights, or because the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your information - ever! We share it only with the services that help run the business, such as Kajabi (website, courses and email), payment processors, [scheduling tool, e.g. Calendly], [analytics tool, e.g. Google Analytics]. Each has its own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
The website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, understand how the website is used and, where enabled, measure advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Emails
If you join The Simply Ihsan Letter or download a free resource, we’ll send you emails related to it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including any legal, tax or accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymise it.
Keeping it safe
We use reputable, secure platforms and limit access to your information. No online system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and let us know if you think your account has been compromised.
International transfers
Our service providers may store information in other countries, including the United States. Where required, they use appropriate safeguards to protect it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, to object to or limit how it’s used, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email [support@katehepburn.com]. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
The website and our products are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16 and remind you that use of this website and its products are for those over 18.
